Ingredients

Spicy BBQ Sweet Heat Seasoning by Sauce Goddess
Maple Espresso BBQ Sauce by Southern City Flavors
6-8 lb Chuck Roast, cut into 2” cubes
1 stick Butter
1/4 Cup Brown Sugar

Directions

Preheat your smoker or grill to 250 °F using wood or charcoal of choice.
Preparing the chuck roast: Slice chuck roast into easy to work with sections. Slice chuck roast into 2 inch by 2 inch cubes. Add Maple Espresso BBQ Sauce by Southern City Flavors as a binder.
On a baking rack, place chuck roast cubes about 1/2 inch apart. Season with Spicy BBQ Sweet Heat Seasoning by Sauce Goddess.
Smoke for 2 hours, then remove and add to your grill-safe baking dish or foil pan.
Add butter, brown sugar and 1/4 cup Maple Espresso BBQ Sauce by Southern City Flavors.
Increase grill temperature to 325 °F.
Mix together, covering all sides and place back in the smoker or grill for an additional hour or until about 203 - 205 °F internal temperature.
Remove and let cool. Enjoy!

Recipe Note

Pro Tips: When preparing the chuck roast, save the heavily marbled section to cut your own “Denver steak” for the ultimate pitmaster snack. Season with Smoked Chipotle Salt by African Dream Foods and black pepper. Grill over direct heat until reaching an internal temperature of 132 °F. Thank me later!
